Madeira

A definitive image of Madeira is the sunrise from the top of the ridge on the way to the peninsula of São Lourenço in the eastern end of the island.

This one is shot some hundred meters down while rushing up the hill, as I got up late for my scheduled shoot at the top and was sure I was too late for the shot I wanted. Turns out I wasn’t, but this shot still was my favourite of the bunch.
