To me one of the most fascinating aspects of photography has always been experimenting with moving water and long exposure. Standing in the raging waters of the Atlantic in northern parts of Madeira, the sea stacks aka Ilhéus de Ribeira da Janela offer plenty to experiment with on that area. It's a juxtaposed experience: The more humbling the power of the ocean is, the more serene scenery the long exposure image displays.
